Default wiring harness question

i have loose ends on my wiring harness and im wondering if its possable to wire a 1.8 nt with a 2.0 wiring harness.
the engine had been replaced when one of the previous owners converted the car over to manual. he also put in a new ecu which supports my theory that the car had a 4g63 out of the factory. im going to see if i can find out what engine came stock in my car, if anyone knows of a way for me to find this out i would appreciate the help.
once again its a 94 gs fwd manual conversion.

thanks
nate

look at the emission label on the hood... all cars have loose ends in the harness.
