Default wtf

this seems really strange to me, im running this 2g MAF, 550cc injectors and i have to keep my SAFC at -10% or so to run right. maybe my fuel pressure gauge is wrong... just seems odd that it want to run so rich. i'm having a really hard time gettin this one tuned good. im gettin bored again and half tempted to put my other 7:1 motor in this car, at least this ones worth putting the good stuff in and not a beat up pile of **** like my old talon. i feel sorry for the jackass that bought that car.

I feel sorry for them too, lol.
What does your fuel gauge show at idle? It should show 37 I believe.

do you mean a/f guage. Because tuning with the safc doesnt really affect the fuel pressure? What A/F are you trying to tune too.

Oopps i originally asked what turbo you had till i read your sig. That does seem a bit weird that you need to minus that much. Is that at high TH? Cuz it might be because of the 2g maf that you need to do it. In which case its probably right

right now im -10 to -12 on lo throttle to keep fair gas mileage, and -6 to-7 for hi throttle to keep it at 11:1 a/f ratio. ( 30/65 lo / hi points)
i meant my fuel pressure gauge could be reading wrong and maybe i have the pressure up too high causing it to be rich, normally with a hacked 2g MAF and 550's i should be on the + side of the AFC
my pressure gauge is showing 26 Psi with the vaccum line unhooked, these are denso injectors if i remember right. has a 1:1 rise AFPR It runs pretty good i just thought it was weird to have to tune like that. Thise new car with lower miles compared to my old one is like going from a chevette to an Evo

isnt it supposed to be 27psi with the vaccuum line hooked up at idle. and then 37psi at zero. Maybe im thinking wrong, idk

i thought it was something like that, i have a rich spot as the boost starts to come up, that regulator makes it harder to tune. if i turn the FP up higher i just have to go even farther down on the AFC then i get that bad stumble when the BOV opens ( yes it recircualted)
i think ill buy a new gauge.
