Default 16G turbo with MBC

Hey guys. I think my manual boost controller is set up wrong. I have a t-fitting off the BOV to the MBC and the other side connected off the wastegate actuator. Is this right? But then again, I was looking under vfaq.com and it says that I have to Disconnect the hose connected off the intake (the little skinny one on the side of the radiator). Is this true, because I have mine connected. It says that I have to plug up that nipple off the intake and the Wastegate Solenoid. So in other words, I dont need that hose. Is this right?

Do you think this is my problem? Do you think this is why I cant adjust my MBC?

i dont think so. I think it comes off completely. Right? how would it connect to the turbo? Is that what you think?

This is what it says on vfaq.com:

Pull your coolant resevoir straight up (large white container
half-full of fluid), and stick it somewhere out of the way.

Now with the airbox removed you'll have the same view as in the picture above.

Unhook both of the blue hoses from the Wastegate Solenoid (in red).

Unhook the one blue hose going to the intake pipe and plug the nipple
that is left sticking out of the intake (under the yellow "X"), with
one of the rubber stoppers included in your Hallman kit.

I guess I do have to unplug that hose from the intake and plug up that nipple and I guess leave that hose disconnected from the intake but still connected to the wastegate solenoid. In other words I still have to leave that hose connected to the wastegate solenoid but the other end of that hose disconnected.
Is this right?

I guess I am going to plug up the intake hole and the wastegate solenoid. Is this a good idea?
