Default 1997 Eclipse spyder running on 2 cylinders

I have a 1997 eclipse spyder that i replaced the engine in.After finished it only ran on 2 cylinders. then i replaced the camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor and it still ran on 2 cylinders. all 4 have spark and the 2 that fire (cylinders 3 and 4) have fuel. but when i switch 2 and 3 fuel injector wires then the 2 that fire are 2 and 4. so i thought it was something electrical so i replaced the ecu. no difference. When i bought the engine it had the distributer not the coil pack like mine.so a dealer said i had to get this piece called a cam position cylinder (ever heard of it?). i put it in before replacing everything else.is there a difference between the 2.0 cam position cylinder and the 2.4 like mine. What else can it be?

check your fuel injectors perhaps if it fires the other pistons when you switch the wires, is it throwing a code?
