Default 1997 spyder gs 2.4 help

So i got a 97 eclipse spyder gs 2.4...
the only this performance wise i have done is a MAF adapter with a cone filter.
im lookin at putting a catback on it but i have only seen two websites with posts about doing it since it rare that anyone mods a 2.4 spyder.

So the two issues im having are that these two websites contridict themselves. 1 website says that any catback exhaust for a 420A motor will bold directly up to my 4g64. The 2nd website says that any exhaust for a 2g FWD turbo eclipse will fit.
-if anyone has done a catback on a 2.4 eclipse with the stock head and everything or knows for a fact what catback exhaust if any will fit it please let me know ASAP..

2nd issue is lowering the car..
some sites say that i can get springs or coilovers for a regular gs or gst and some say that i need to get gsx springs or coils to support the weight of the convertible top. however one site i was on said that the suspention on the gsx is different and trying to put gsx springs or coils on a 2.4 gs would not be doable

those are the 2 main things im looking to do to the car right now and i would really appreciate some info thanks alot

i have been to this site numerous times i just didnt know the credibility it had with the amount of contridicting info i have seen on the internet..someone should really start posting up parts listed to fit the spyders when they infact do.. for instance the MAF adapter on ebay was posted only for the turbo models when infact the spyder has a MAF unit and is what it needs to have a CAI or even short ram..but thanks for the reassurance!

This site is as credible as it gets for your car and is widely known for the 4g64 motor. So anything on their will be the truth.
