RE: 1G in a 2G PART LIST?
sorry to bring up an "older" post... but what problems will you have with the ecu or electricalafter the swap, anything?
wait, i think i found it... is it amatter of misfiring? or is this just the case with a full swap and not just the block... either way, this is fixed with a dsmlink and a tune, correct?

Yes, some people have problems with a code that's called RM or random misfire. I've used two ECU's and haven't had it happen with either. However I've only got 1300 miles on the swap and I'm getting myDSMlink setup today But yeah, DSMlink will fix it IF you get it. No tune required, just checking a little box and you're good to go.

Oh and on that list you don't need the oil cooler, the stock 2g will work, and you also don't need the 1g lower radiator hose, mine fits fine, just took a little trimming and turning. I've even got IC piping going everywhere so it shouldn't bea problem.
I would HIGHLY suggest upgrading oil coolers though. The water-cooled oil coolers are VERY fragile and are pretty worthless. Overtightening will leave you with coolant in your oil.
