well i finally pulled apart the cam gears and to check it out and they aree on backwards and i also noticed that one of my cam gears spins freely due to a brocken locking pin on the camshaft. so does anybody know if thes pins are replacable or do i have to buy a whole new camshaft.
i got a pic so you guys can see wat im talkin about. one arow shows the locking pin and the other shows were the locking pin should be

i'm gonna be goin tho the wreckin yard to get a cam but i needed to know what other cars have the 420a motor and are there any other motors that have interchangable parts with the 420a motor?

 

oh, my bad, i thought you meant you had 2.4cams, lol, i guess having a bigger cam gear can also effekt it

 

yeah i thought it was pretty wierd to that they just put the cam gears on backwards and it still ran now i just gotta find some decent priced camshafts.
