Default 2 questions

I just got my AEM cold air intake and there are two little pipes coming out the sides. If I am correct, one goes into the throttle body but I dont know where the other one goes. I thought I was missing some hoses but I am not. Whats the extra pipe for? The second one is, my pulley is squeeling a lot so I went and bought a new unorthodox crank pulley. My step dad is telling me that its my bearing that is making the noise and that I need to replace that. Was I wrong by buying the pulley and only having to replace the bearing and if I do, does anyone know a website or store where I can get one?

the second hookup is for the exahust return line from the valve cover to recirculate the unused air back through the intake system, i would suggest getting a filter system as this air is very dirty and oily before you hook it back up........... as for the bearing im not sure........

1398 is right, and the filter setup he's talking about is called a catch can. You don't need to plumb in that line, you can put a breather filter on the valve cover to vetilate the system, but the filter will prevent oil from squirting out at sudden high pressures. The catch can is one step further. It's basically a a can that the oil can go into if the breather filter ever gets too clogged. Greddy sells them, as do Apexi and HK$. You're step-dad may be right, but the only way to know for sure is to put on the new pulley, tighten everything up and see if it still makes noise.
