Default 2000 Eclipse

Hi,

I have a few questions for you guys. I have a 2000 Eclipse and I have had it since 2000. I am the original owner, and my warranty just ran out and I would like to do a few things to my car now, but I am not very smart at cars (computers thats a whole different story)

I was recentlly in a wreck. I ran into the back of some dumb f**k that can't drive. Yes, its my fault that I hit the dumb f**k, but under the circimstances I think it was his fault. So I basically messed up the whole front hood, and my hood is bowed up just about a 1/2 inch. I was curious to know if there are after market parts for a bumper and hood that I can buy that will give it a different look, and maybe carbon fiber so the car is lighter? And links anyone? Or should I just take it to a autobody shop and get it fixed?

Second, I want to do some mods for the engine, and the speed of the car. Where shoudl I start looking for order in which to do things that will provide the most power for my money, and in which order I should put them on, header before exaust, intake, etc...

Thanks

well first of all if it were me i would go for the carbon fiber cause i just think it looks good...but make sure its OEM

next if you were going to get an engine fix, you need to get the BIG 3 (intake, header, exhaust)

i own a 98 eclipse and i have only upgraded to AEM cold air intake which is nice and sometime this summer i am getting exhaust and a header....

peace out

Ok first, you need stickers.. there is nothing i can say more than put some stickers in your rear driver or passenger side windows, heck u can fill them both up.. But yes, carbon fiber hoods give the car a nice look, by the way what color is it? and if your gonna have to get a new bumper i'd just go ahead with a "Body Kit" not sure if that replaces the bumper or what, just lookin into it, if ur good with comps. i assume u can find this kinda stuff.. By the way is it automatic or manual? I'd also drop some cash on a "Short Throw Shifter" or Short Shifter, they're nice.. fun hit gears with..
