Having problem with my 2000 Eclipse. when I try to pop the hood , hood latch does not release. It feels like either cable or sleeve is "streatching" when pulled. Also when pulling hood release you can hear "click" like cable or latch is strikeing underside of hood. No mods have been done to the car of any kind , just went to change oil other day and couldn't "pop" hood. Any ideas or suggesions would be appreciated on how to get hood open!!!! <FONT color=magenta>My hood is kind of a pain to open too...but usually if I just screw around with it for a while it opens fine...just take it to the dealer and tell them...and if they give u problems just complain until they do it <IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0"></FONT>
