2001 Eclipse Spyder wont idle

Default 2001 Eclipse Spyder wont idle
Car wont run....problem happened overnight. Yesterday ran great, today it wont idle. It turns over & tries to stay on but the engine shakes and shuts off. It wont idle for even 2 seconds. Is this a common prob with these cars? Can it be the timing belt? Alarm problem?
