Default 3rd Gen Eclipses

How fast are they because, some guy is talkin about how his car is so fast, and he has exhaust and some pulleys, and headers I think he said.

I've got mine up to 130, and I'm NA (obviously) and at high altitude, and had plenty of gear left. Oh, and mine is stock, except the Fram Air Hog filter, lol.

Yeah, the GT's were dyno'd and most show about 165hp to the wheels. The 4 cylinders all showed about 112hp to the wheels also. Just for reference, the eclipse turbo's(both generations) stock all showed about 175-185whp stock, so the six cylinder gt's are a little overated from the factory. That doesn't meant they can't be fast though! Open up the breathing and swap out those cams, and they can take on a lot of 3.0l cars out there. But remember, the gt-s's have the MIVEC valvtronics(which apparantly only adds 10hp), so don't screw with the valvetrain on those unless you know what you're doing!

Your buddy may be pushing about 175whp, depending on the header/exhaust combo. Check out DDP, they used to have some dyno numbers for the stock 3g's somewhere.
