400hp turbo

RE: 400hp turbo
If your motor is built, spend a little more and get the fp red.. That turbo will push serious power to the wheels.. Or go with fp's 20g.. Mine spools up in the low to mid 3000 grand.. And with the right boost, and tuning you could be pushin over 400 to the wheels..

RE: 400hp turbo
Oh, and you could go with the 750 injectors, but I would personally go a little smaller.. Mine are actually overkill with the boost that im running.. I know a guy that has the 650 injectors and is running a bigger GT series turbo.. I have to really adjust though for the bigger injectors with my afcII.. Just my opinion..

I'd really like to get my car up to 400hp or more. In a couple weeks I will have my built 6 bolt in along with some HKS cams. Right now I'm just running a Big T28 but im obviously going to upgrade it. Now in order to get 400hp what am I going to need? the motor is already built to take it so no worries there. Here is what i have so far figured out
DsmLink
780cc injectors (or bigger?)
255lph pump
FPR
50trim turbo /FP green(or bigger)
FMIC
its a 1995 eagle talon tsi awd
so far the car already has
ACT Flywheel
ACT 2600 clutch
Tubular stanless manifold
Big T28 turbo w/Evo III o2 housing
Greddy IC pipes and RS BOV
1g intake manifold
BBK 62mm throttle body
3"turbo back exhaust
Intake
and of course the 6 bolt motor.
Now im not going to do this right away, im just thinking and trying to plan ahead. Im pretty much looking for some kind of chart, showing The name of the turbo, the peak horse power, the horse power it can do every day ( like not pushing it to its max), and spool up time
I want good power, but i dont want to wait till 5k rpms to have it

Dude, I dont think you would need anything over 650's, specially since he is only lookin to be around 400hp.. Unless your going 600+ hp you wouldnt need to go any bigger than the 650's.. Anything more your just spendin $ on overkill.

RE: 400hp turbo
True, but 1000cc injectors are only about $30 more than 680cc injectors. DSMLink also has more control than either SAFC devices. I've got 780cc in my car with an FPB28 and I don't have issues with it even though they are overkill. One thing is for sure...I'll never run out of fuel, lol.
The other variable that I see is that he's going for a built motor which will be able handle up to, whatever turbo he wants (to a point of course). Getting bigger injectors now means that he won't need them later and he won't have to worry about the motor getting starved for gas if he bumps up the boost with pump gas or race gas.
Also, ProStreet is pretty high. EPSI is almost half that! http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...cat=257&type=0
..and they have 1000cc injectors.
