Hello all i am going to change my car from a 420a to a 4g63. I am getting a totaled eclipse rear end is gone. now i know i will need the whole motor tranny ECU but do the motor mounts for the 420 a work as in the position of the top mout on the 420a it is on the left and on the 4g63 is it on the left? also do you need the whole wiring harness from the 4g63.

 

i'm 99% sure u will need the whole harness..

 

you will basically need to put the entire engine bay, wiring, tranny, ecu and anything else you can think of into the other car, it would be easier and cheaper to sell your car and go buy a gs-t............. and i dont think the motor mounts match up..........

 

well i can get a totaled eclipse for 500 bucks. and as for the mounts top one is an easy fix because it is on the other side. I think that just buying the totaled eclipse and fixing the one i have will be and just as time consuming. its hard to find a car that has a straght body.

 

so dose anyone know if the bottom mounts are in the same spot?
