My old AC belt shredded, so i installed a new one, and now when i turn, it stops the belt and squeeks?!!!!! Whats wrong with my power steering lol

Either the wrong belt is on there... or you need to make it tighter

im tighting the tensioner pulley and bolt and it juss keeps doing it. Wouldt it be stopping bc its to tight?

No that shouldnt be why. Does it feel tight to you?

I put the slick side up, it should be down lol

wait what? the slick side should be up on most belts with the teeth down. am i wrong?
