NO!!!! you can but theres ALOT of modding that needs to be done to the engine bay (its like 4 inches smaller side to side than the GSx/t) for the cost of having it done is the price for a GST/X, even if you do it your self its cost as much as a GSX/T......save your self the trouble, have somebody steal your rs/gs and use the insureance money to buy a GSX or GST.....

but you didnt hear me say that...lol

im guessing your talking to jason i believe his name is. I dont know why is is so into the GS stuff. But like TJ said there is a reason that its only been done like twice, because its just not cost effective. There is just to much custom fab work to get it in there.

Comon Leave the rs alone

They do make an 420a with turbo right now they are about 2400 for the first stage.I think another 1000 for the second stage ,they did alot of work on that 420 and really got it going.400+ hpPlus the rs is 400LB light then the turbos

nobody is ******* on the RS or GS, its just its NOT COST EFFECTIVE to swap a 4g63t or even put a turbo on that car if you want to make it fast. you can make its a little quicker with a turbo BUT you can run like 8psi of boost with out blowing a hole in your block. if you want to have a fast car like the GST/X then buy one, its a whole lot cheaper to make 100hp with a GST/x than the 420a. its going to cost you 4K plusto do that with a 420a

Ram is not a true cold air put a filter right where the box was before. cold air is low to the ground where cold air from under the car can reach it but it is easier to suck up water this also depends on how low it is to the ground i know a few people that bought both and only run the cold when it is nice day switch to ram when it is very wet.

As everyone indicated here's your only option:
-Rebuild that 420A for some high boost. You can boosts the stock internals with 8lbs of boost and a good tune. That should get you around 250-275whp.
-Stroke the 420A
-Drop a 2.4L from the 95-99 "cloud cars". This requires fabrication of the engine mount(s) and the oil pan. Plus you have hood clearance issues.

What you can not do if you don't want to spend $$$$.
-drop a 4G63/T (some of done it but by the time you're done paying for it, you could have purchased a GST or a GSX).
-drop a SRT-4 motor
