Default 4g64T vs 4g63t

I have $2000 to play with (tax return) I wanna know if it would be better to keep my 99 gs and do the headswap (4g63) with the evo 3 big 16g or get a gst spyder.

Will I have enough for the swap and supporting mods for a turbo?
http://www.4g64.com/users/raycer97/1g_parts.htm

Will it be worth it or should I sell it and buy a GST spyder? I heard theres advantages in having a 2.4L turbo engine, but then again what supporting mods would I need with the evo turbo kit?

this is what I came up with
$800 for turbo and kit
$500 for the swap list (its small parts I could find used)
then $700 for gauges, fuel inj, cams

Is that about all I need? my goal is about 300-350 WHP. I got a feeling Im way off.

Yea your missing alot such as a tuning device, clutch. And i dont know how your figuring on only 800 for the turbo kit. What about the intercooler and all piping. Not to mention the custom downpipe and exhaust needed. Then the intake, BOV,

I really think it wouldnt be worth it to do

you might need different intercooler piping.. but everything else should work off of it
