iv got a 92 6 bolt 4g63 talon and my bro has a 95 eclipse 4g64 and were trying to figure out witch is the better engine?
a little info would be great!

 

I have owned both motors now by far 4G63 is better (My cars are EVO=4G63 and 2000 Eclipse GS=4G64). The 64 I had was very weak acually tossed a rod a 92K w/ no mods and on an NA car thats tought to do. The 4G64 that was in my car was the SOHC 16 valve I have read that those usr the same internals as a 2G but im not sure. the 4G64 with stock internals can be boosted and hold around 10PSI without any trouble(on a good tune of course) which will get about 300WHP. the 4G63 in the EVO has made over 500AWHP on the stock bottom end and I have seen them boosted to almost 30 PSI. My Vote goes 4G63 all the way
