I found a 95 eclipse gs that i can get cheap well really cheap but its and auto and it wont shift out of second gear. Is this a common problem and maybe an easy fix or what do u guys think. M first thought was the transmission itself was bad but they had put another one in it and still have the same problem could it be sumthing in the wiring ? thanks

 

ecm, same thing happend to my 1st gen.

 

So I need to get a new ecm? How much do they usually cost?

 

I think it's about almost 1k if you get it from the dealer. I got mine from ebay which is 300 and it works great
