Nah the rim will get a little warm but not too warm for you to touch.

 

If you know how to bleed brakes here is what i suggest doing taked the rim off get a c clamp and put one side in the outer part of the calaper and the other on the other side put a little pressure on it open the bleeder screw than twist the c clamp with the pressure applied close the bleeder screw pump the brakes a few times this should put the calaper where it needs to be with correct pressure when brakes are not applied.
