Default 95 front end conversion to 97

So I'm gonna start off by saying that I did do searches, couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I'm gonna ask anyway...

So I just bought a 95 eclipse gst. So the bumpers are in pretty bad shape and the headlights are fogging over, so I'm planning on putting on new headlights and a body kit. So I know that the headlights are different, and therefore the body kits are slightly different to accomodate. Is the line on the hood any different from where it closes on the headlights? Because most body kits I believe are tailored towards the 97-99 models, I'm guessing it would most likely be easier, assuming I do both at the same time, to go ahead and buy both parts for that year, and that both will still bolt on perfectly fine to my 95? Thanks for the help!

Don't waste a ton of money on new headlights...unless you planned on getting halo's or something anyway...you can get a polish kit and clean them up REAL nice...almost new looking + save some money in the process

The body kits aren't a big deal, some don't line up perfectly, but the lines on 95-99 Eclipses are the same...shouldn't have to mod anything.

first off i want to say make sure that your topics match up with what you arre asking or saying, 95-97 conversion... that is not what htis post is about. anyways if you really are set on getting new headlights check e-bay, they have good looking lights for under 150 (i bought the projector halos and they look and work great). i'm pretty sure that the headlights and bumper allignment are the same because when you search for kits or lights it always say 95-99... so don't break your back over that. for a body kit, jeez, there are endless websites to check i got mine off ebay last year and aparently was just one of the lucky ones, because mine fit absolutely perfect other than having ot dremel down an inch off the side skirts for the door.

hey, yeah, the 95-96 eclipse headlights are different from the 97-99 headlights slightly.. enough to make putting a after market body kit on a pain in the ***.... i have a 96 eclipse, and i had to buy 97 headlights to fit my front bumper... i just got the cheap ones of ebay, but they look awesome and they're working perfectly... but yes, there def. is a difference
