Default Ratcheting front end

Ok, I've got this 98 GS I bought the other day and today I noticed after making a sharp turn the front end seemdd to be ratcheting, even after straightening back up. its done it three times just today and the only way I have found to make it stop is to slip the right front wheel then it seems to pull fine again. anyone hear of that problem before?

also, its a 5 speed trans, I cant get the shifter to even go into third and I have to baby it into fourth. I messed with the clutch cables a bit today and got to where sitting still I could get the shifter into all the gears but as soon as I started driving it was back to the same thing, cant get the shifter to even go into third gear and grinds going into 4th. thought maybe if someone could through up a stop sign before I yank this tranny out it would be appreciated. Thanks

You might need to tighten some of the screws in the frotn end right by the front fenders, I did that and it became more quiet, and you might have to take it to a transmission shop to solve that problem.
