OK I'm working on my 95 gst when i accelerate and start to build boost i get alot of smoke out the exhaust

here are the list of mods done

16g turbo upgrade, 550cc injectors, walboro 255 fuel pump, 8.5mm spark plug wires

any help will be greatly appreciated and i will answer any questions i can

 

is it black smoke or white smoke. if its black then you are running to rich. if its white then you prob have a piston ring that is failing. get a compression test done.

 

yes it is black i had done a compression test already and have 160 in all cylinders. so if its running rich how do i adjust that i thought the mixture is controlled by ecu

 

OK so i found a couple vacuum leaks and fixed them, now i have a different problem when I'm accelerating i have like a serging thing happening.

any thoughts

what are you using to tune. And how high boost are you running?

 

well when the problem started it was completely stock thats when i started replacing components hoping that it would fix the problems. i started with the turbo then went to fuel pump and then fuel rail and injectors i haven't been ably to get it running good enough to take and have it tuned and as far as the boost it still set at stock i haven't changed it

 

i also just boost checked it and found 5 leaks. the throttle body had 2 leaks the throttle shaft and the screw. the other leaks where in the tubing. now I'm waiting on the rebuild kit for the throttle body to see it that works.

 

OK so i just got done rebuilding my throttle body to fix the leaks. i have no leaks now but still have the surging thing happening any other thoughts
