95 gsx clutch problem
My gf has a 95 eclipse gsx with the 1st gen engine swap. It puts out 300 hp. We have the stage 2 act clutch on it with a fidanza flywheel. It also has a new master cylinder and slave cylinder. Had a new clutch fork put in less than a year ago. Now the problem is that sometimes the clutch won't work, like you press on the pedal but nothing happens and the pedal feels a lil soft. have bled it a ton and still the same thing. It doesn't do it all the time but most of the time it is a bitch to get in gear and then back out of gear. It feels like the clutch doesn't engage and disengage when you press the pedal. Any ideas? by the way has a hydraulic clutch. The shop is havin a hard time tryin to figure out what is wrong. Any ideas would be appreciated.

RE: 95 gsx clutch problem
Yeah already tried that. I adjusted and rebled like 5 different heights. At one point I had adjusted and it was working perfect and then all of the sudden it started to not work. It is still at the shop they said that they should have it figured out by the end of this week and I guess if they can't figure it out then will have to take to dealership or something.

RE: 95 gsx clutch problem
who did the work on the car? was it pro or home done? it almost sounds like you may have a leak in the hose? if you open up the top on the clutch fluid thinger and press the clutch to the floor does the fluid move all that much?

RE: 95 gsx clutch problem
actually a professional shop here in the indy area did it. Called ssc. They have done a lot of stuff for us and other people we know. They are a good shop they have a 10 sec hatch that they built. They have already tested all of the hoses and said everything tested out fine. They will be tearing the tranny back off this week. So yeah not home done but thanks anyways. We have tried the usual stuff and tested the usual things.
