Default '95 GSX newbie

Hi gang,
Well I just bought my first 95 Eclipse been dreaming about one since they rolled off the floor. Anyways, this thing has a simi bad turbo (it whines real bad till it's nice a warm, Sounds like a fast fan with a card in the spokes or a clutching system spooling), any ways I was looking for some input on a new replacement for it. I'm not looking to do to much performance to this car, Only basic mods like Cold air Intakes and down pipes to help move the extra air, but since the turbo will need replacing and prob sooner then later I was wondering what you all think?

Also, while I'm posting, does anyone ahve the Pioneer AVIC-N3 or N2 head unit in any of the rides, I'm considering shucking out some crisp ones for the head unit, and some New JBL speakers, but not sure what is Involved with getting all the bells and whistles working between the GSX adn the N3 ( I like the idea of the VDD (Vehicle Dynamics Display)... any thoughts?

The T-25 is **** and a waste of money. If you want your car to run slightly better and get better performance and save yourself alot of trouble. Get an EVO III 16g turbo and an MBC and you will never look back at the T-TOO SMALL. If you really want a new stock turbo. Dont be fooled by the high prices on ebay or something. My friend picked one up for like 50 bucks and another for like 120. Ask people that are moding their eclipses/talons and they might be getting rid of the stock turbo... they wont want very much for it lol.

AS far as the AVIC goes it's easy to hook it all up. It's the same as a normal deck, but it has a parking preak lead, a VSS lead, a backup lead, and a gps antenna.

I wouldent get a evoIII16g just because you need about 4g in work to actually get the performance that it offers, fuel system, fmic, piping, electronics, tune/dyno time.

I would get a regular 16g or a 14b with a welded elbo. Both are cheap, the 16g would be a direct replacment where the 14b would need to be modified(the elbo on the compressor housing). Either way you cant run over 17 psi on the stock fuel system. If you really dont want that much more performance just get another t25 but if you want a little kick and your going to get a mbc/fmic get a 16g.

Do what I did and get a big T 28 turbo. Unlike the 16G it is a direct replacement for a 95 gsx and gst. You don't need an install kit and a new intercooler pipe all you would need is a braided oil line to get oil from the oil filter not the top of the head. You can get the oil line in road racing and a T28 on ebay from g pop for around $500. I did and I am amazed at the diffrence in power.
