95 GSX Rebuild layout
So Here is my plan layed out for my eclipse GSX.
stock head w/ 3rd gen lifters, perf. valve guides, valve guide seals, titanium springs and retainers, 1mm oversized valves, stage 2 crower Cams 272/272, 6 bolt block bored out .040with wiseco 9.0:1 pistons .20 bore. Eagle Connecting Rods w/ARP bolts, Unothodox pulley kit (A/C,P/S,Crank,Alternator), venom adjustable cam gears, kevlar timing belt, twin scroll big 16G turbo, Apexi AFC Neo, Halmanboost controller, AEM Uego Wideband, *someFMIC setup*,Turbo XS BOV type-S, Prothane Motor Mounts, two 12" slim fans, Aluminum Radiator, HKS Turbo Timer, 255 lph Fuel pump, 720 cc injectors, 3" Turbo Downpipe, 2.5" turbo cat back exhaust, Unorthodox Ultra L Flywheel, Weapon R Intake Manifold, and since I have no clue where this is going to land me on my power range I have no clue what kind of clutch to buy!?
So I know it's a mouthfull and it will take me about a year to complete, but does anybody have any suggestions for me? Or do you just like my idea *lemme know either way*

RE: 95 GSX Rebuild layout
Alll i have to say is you are going about this all the wrong way. To me the steps to building a car should be as follows:
1. Decide your HP that you would liketo obtain.
2. Figure out which turbo is going to best suit this need.
3. Figure out what mods are needed to support this power (fuel, engine components, turbo accessories, ect.)
If you start with the mods first your gonna end up spending either more money than you needed to, or spending it in the wrong areas. Dont just buy stuff just to say, hey i have all these mods. Do your research on whatever turbo you want and look at others similiar setups first. Get a "real" list going and make a quick cost analysis on this

RE: 95 GSX Rebuild layout
Would you like to see my spreadsheet? I already researched my fuel and supporting mods for the turbo by using our nifty "Search" tool that hardly anybody seems to use anymore. I thought up these mods around the turbo, and everything internally is supposed to take the licking that is forced on them.I will more than likely never find anybody with thesamesetup as me so figuring out the exact horsepower range isreally hard and with all these mods the horsepower is added in different areas so I'll never know what the range is until the bad boy is put on a dyno. The intercooler needs to hold up to 20 PSI at MOST and that's all. so it is a real list. I expect to hit at least500 if not 600 HP with this setup. Like I said, any suggestions would be nice, so keep em coming.

Oh wow glad TE asked!!!
You need like a GT35R to make that kind of power... its about 1000000000000000000x bigger than a 16g. You will also need a lot more mods than that.
Lets start shal we?
Pistons
Built tranny
Rods
Clutch
EMS of some kind
Big *** injectors
FMIC
External wastegate
intake manifold
Exhaust manifold
BOV
MBC
The list is massive dude...... i thougt you where aiming for like 350

RE: 95 GSX Rebuild layout
See thats what i was talking about. The 35R would be a good turbo with this. You do realize to get like 500hp is gonna cost about 9-10k depending on how you do it. And the reason i was asking about the mods is because adjustable gears is pointless, and the pulley kit i guess is fine, but not needed. Why are you saying 2.5" catback. Thats pointless, you need a complete 3" mandrel bent. For this you need bigger injectors, a better tuning system. And your gonna need alot more than 20psi to obtain this.
Now lets say that you werent really sure what this setup was gonna give you but you want to stay with the turbo you chose and the parts. Well thats only gonna get a max of 350hp and then there are alot of useless parts in there. Like ALL the internals are wasted money for only using a 16g. and the radiator and intake manifold. Because you can get to the max of this turbo and never max out the engine. So i think you need to rethink you shopping list and goals

RE: 95 GSX Rebuild layout
agreed with TE... the nicest 16g on the market E316g will put you at 350whp 400 w/ meth. 35 would be nice but you'lll need a good bit more than 20psi to get up to 500 or 600whp. i hope you have deep pockets or gracious parents also b/c like they said... ur lookin at a good chunk of change for this setup.
