So I had a miss-understanding of the power that turbo can push (I thought it pushed 350 horse not limited to that), but still, a little more help, a little less ***** kicking please, keep it coming. Upgrade turbo, upgradefuel injecs, upgrade fuel pump, a full 3" Exhaust system, a larger FMIC,and somebody said something about a built tranny (what is that meaning? other than clutch and flywheel) and remove adjustable pulleys from list. Now what?

for 500-600whp you'll need
i'd go 3.5-4" exhaust for that much power
bottom end rebuild w/ forged internals
head work
almost all new valvetrain
decent set of cams 272s or 280's even
aftermarket intake manifold
race/performance transmission (stock will hold up fora bit but eventually it's gonna give)
adjustable cam gears
arp studs
cometic head gasket
obviously an aftermarket manifold
gooooood sized turbo - gt30r on nitrous, gt35r, etc etc
2.75-3" IC piping
fmic
w/ the boost u'll be pushing SSQ would be ok but i would recommend TIAL bov
you can use DSM link but you'd be MUCH better off w/ an EMS (aem ems)
now... it's gonna take your dinky 2.0 a while to spool that bad boy so i'd suggest a stroker kit or nitrous to get you spooling.
again, all in all ur looking at about 10k.
I think viciousgsx would be a good guy to talk to about this. hes getting ready to get a new kit pushing 600-700whp i think.

Built tranny refers to one built by John Shep or TRE. They are just stronger.

RcJr PLEASE READ MY ORIGINAL POST FIRST and then make suggestions, I havelisted the block, wiseco pistons and rods w/arp bolts, *didn't mention the head gasket but thought it was infered rather* Crower cams 272/272 and Venom adjustable cam gears, I mentioned upgrading exhaust in a later post and the FMIC, I also mentioned the valvetrain upgrades, head work, AND an Aftermarket Intake Manifold. I didn't mention any header because I've not yet decided on a brand or anything yet. I also get that I will need to upgrade the fuel injectors more, and I understand I need a bigger turbo.Yet Thank you Ron for the EMS, Stroker, and tranny suggestions. Thank you too Sebba for specifying on the tranny suggestion.

Why don't you start a little smaller first. I'm thinking you're in a little over your head...

also dogbox does a tranny rebuild a lot cheaper than TRE or Shep will... I spoke with one of the guys there and he said that both of the shop cars are runnin over 800hp and the tranny's are doin fine
