hey guys

I would like to know if its worth it to upgrade to a larger turbo with an automatic transmission? A transmission swap to a 5speed is not an option. Im wondering just wondering the performance differences between an auto turbo and manual turbo? Also would any transmission upgrades need to be made?

Well it depends no the HP you want. If your just thinking a 16g upgrade then the auto is fine and there isnt a difference in performance HP output between the 2.

Well I want the most (safest) amount of HP I can get without pulling the engine and doing major mods. This assuming I upgrade to a bigger intercooler. Advice on a turbo/ intercooler combo that would be good for my situation?

 

big16g is the best for what your looking for. The only problem you might end up with is traction on a FWD car. But the engine will be fine
