Default 97 Eclipse Spyder Tach

I got myself a monster tach and there are four wires on them, green, white, black and red. Where do I connect these wires too? I know most of them but i just want to be sure where to hook it up.. the car is a 97 Eclipse Spyder

Allright your red is going to go to a hot wire that is active when the ignition is on, black goes to any ground, I'm guessing that the yellow one is lighting so needs to go to a wire that's hot when the headlights are one, and the green should be the tach input coming somewhere off the ignition system. I haven't installed a tach on an eclipse yet so I don't know for sure but on my truck it was actually marked that is was a tach input. (I have an '84 Ford F-150 LOL). It's not hard to install a tach should take you about a half hour or so.

www.vfaq.com should have some install info. yes green is rpms and you need a pinout diagram for your ecu once you know what wire to tap your set.
