98 eclipse stock alarm starter problem (i will pay for a working answer!!!)
i have 98 GSX eclipse automatic, i was at the mall today , somehow the stock alarm started going off , i also have a aftermarket alarm on it to , the noise wouldnt stop and i dint know how to stop it so i started the car.
the car drove with the noise continuing until someone pulled up and told me to put the key in the drivers dooor, not thinking i turned the car off in drive on accident and had to put it back in park to get the key out .
i put the key in the door and it stoped the noise but when i went to start the car, nothing . it goes all the way but theres no clicking . ive done some research and it seems like the anti theft killed my starter , how do i fix this please this car is my only life line .

yeahh tryed that ....its either the theft system or somehow the theft system blew out the starter or the starte solinoid ...it seems like im not the only person who has had this problem before , lookin for a fix before the dealer steals my whole paycheck for something that will probably be simple

Try putting the key in the ON position, then holding the aftermarket alarm system bypass button (or whatever its called) then while holding, turn the key and see if its starts. I bet its your new system that is locking you out and not the stock one. If that doesnt work you are gonna need to try jumping a couple wires in your security system to bypass it
