99 GST Good buy?????
hey hows it goin guys? im lookin at a 1999 eclipse GST 2.0 Turbo. the car has 109,000 miles on it. he is askin $5500 or best offer. I am not familiar with mitsubishi's at all. i know hondas lol. Its all leather...the car is CLEAN inside and out is in PERFECT condition. how are these cars with over 100k? how far will they go? do you think it is work buying with that many miles? replies will be apprieciated!! im goin to look at it and drive it tomorrow. so please get back to me asap.

Basically, if they previous owner(s) took care of it, didn't miss oil changes, didn't always drive like an idiot, and knew what they were doing, the car should last. I know of eclipse's that had engines go at 80k miles. The guy 2 owners before me had to get the engine rebuilt in my car at 87k. It really all depends on how they're taken care of, and it seems like there's no real way to say that they are unreliable or very reliable on their own aside from owner's care for them.
It looks about as clean as my rebuild - try to talk him down and go for it.
