If my car does not have ABS can I still use the wiring harness from a car with it and just not connect that part. Asking because a bought a Wiring harness from a shop and it has like a long black piece on the end of the wiring thats about 6 inches and looks like it attaches to a computer or somthing. I asked what it was and he told me it goes to the ABS. My mechanic doesnt want to use it on the car. But would it be ok? And if anybody knows for sure what that black connector is could you let me know?

 

correct me if im wrong but dosnt all the cars have the abs cabled but the hardware pices are not there I thought a manufacture made 1 harness than just didnt include stuff like abs, CC, Rear wiper.....

 

is it just the wiring harness? i cant imagine why it would be a problem. if youre really concerned you could just get the right one though
