How would I go about adjusting the shifter cables for a manual 95 eclipse GSX? That might be part of my problem with the difficulty in shifting. The lock nuts seem to be pretty far back and a pain in the *** to get tools in there.

 

my shifting is very hard... i took off the cables and it loosened up the shifter. not sure how to fix it really.
