I have a 2000 eclipse GS. I'm having a hard time finding an exhaust system. Alot of the ones I've looked at on the internet say that they're for 4 cyl models and the V6. Should I go ahead and buy the one that says it's for both models or should I keep looking. Also does anyone have any suggestions on some sites that are good. thanks

 

Well if it says it will fit the 4cyl then it will. Theres nothing wrong with it...

 

actually alot of times they say that and might not, especially if you buy from ebay you might have to have some small custom work dont to it to get it to fit. There are plenty of exhausts out there for that car though. Search around for invidia, they make a good system, or Greddy, or apexi. They are all good

 

thats not true John. Ebay is different but in general all exhaust for the 3G are for either model except Invidia because invidia is to big and will not help a GS\RS but all others use the same exact exhuast


So to answer the question yes you can buy one that says it is for the V6 or the I4 and V6 because they will still bolt on since all the hanger are exactly the same.

 

Do you know any good sites to look at? I've looked everywhere and I'm tired of looking.

 

So does that mean I can buy an exhaust that says it is for the V6 models.
