I still agree with them. Start with the Throttle body first. Clean the inside with carb cleaner. While doing that, check the coil on the back side of the TB. Maybe spray it with some WD-40. If you still have the high idle after this then start check some of the other things. But is this a non turbo or turbo. If its a turbo then the next thing id do is the BISS. my car is a 5 speed non-turbo im just a sad 420a

 

If I remember correctly my 6g73 didn't have a BISS screw but it had a throttle pulley screw that adjusted idle, the 420a should be about the same.

 

see the thing about this is it does it sparaticly its not all the time. usualy after hard driving

 

ECU is my guess

 

so just disconect the battery for like 10 mins. or so?

Might be a wire harness or something. Its almost impossible to tell
