Default AGAIN!!!! im changing mechanic's.

For those who know. My engine has been to the shop four times in the last 3 weeks. first the radiator and axle plus timing belt. next i get it back for 24 hours and it dies on me. i send it back. and got it back today. Smoking in the first 30 minutes of driving it. idk what happend. it smells like its burning oil and it was white smoke. then i popped my hood and the turbo and exhaust mani are RED HOTT. so what do you think happend? im going back to the shop, getting a refund and sending it to another mechanic. really i cant believe this, they might be my parents friends but they do NOT know anything about my car. im so pissed off.

Well I'd say if the turbo and mani are red hot you've got a cooling problem. Sounds like a clogged line or a bunch of idiots working on the car...

After lookin at the pic again I'd have to venture a guess and say your cat is clogged... Remember I don't know shyt about turbos either... LOL so I could be completely wrong on it being cooked but look into the catalytic converter it's probably done... I talked to a few friends of mine from a turbo knowledgable area they said you're likely going to need to replace the turbo seals and hollow the cat out. See what happend after you clear out the entire exhaust system except the muffler. Don't run ti too much the turbo MAY be salvagable. If not then I have one I can sell you It needs a rebuild but otherwise it's in good shape lol...
