Default Air Fuel Check Engine light

My car keeps kicking back at me... i guess thats the only way to say it.. whenever i slam my foot to the floor. I took it to autozone to see what it is, and it's the air/fuel mixture. Anyone have any ideas? It's a 96 Eclipse GSX stock. It's really starting to irritate me. and does anyone know what the proper gap for Iridium spark plugs are?

fuel cut. Thats what its called. Most likely you have a leak in your intake or exaust somewhere. Maybe check your intercooler pipes and intake and see.
