i had crank walk..it sucked..there was a loud bangand my car died about 10sec after...[sm=boohoo.gif]
but its build now...[sm=happybounce.gif]

i dont think the car would have died if it was a head gasket. It was actually crankwalk, and not the timing belt going? Do you have any pics? Like of the engine destroyed. those are always fun to look at

there is no need to replace your engine... a loud pop when shifting gears is somewhat normal in turbo'd cars. what mods do you have? here's a vid of an evo on a dyno backfiring in every gear ( http://videos.streetfire.net/categor...110120a56c.htm). it sounds as simple as an oil leak in your case, and possibly need of a small tune.
