Another Speedometer Problem
hello to all, i am a new memebr and i was searching around for other people who had speedometer problems, but none were similar to mine.....
i have a 1999 automatic mitsubishi eclipse RS....last september the speedometer stopped working at 64,000 exactly....since then, the speedometerand the mileage marker do not work at all....all the other gauges work fine except for those two...i tried replacing it with another speedometer, but its still the same....any ideas on what can cause this aggrevating problem.....by the way, its a stock cluster...none of that indiglo crap

RE: Another Speedometer Problem
Not sure about the auto but manual trans is cable driven well mine is 96 GST if it is try hooking a high speed drill to the end of cable and see if u can make it work if not prob a bad cable if it dose work could be on the tranny side.
