Do you hear it during like first and second gear, or going over bumps? Is your car lowered?

yes the car is ghetto lowered, heated springs in the front, coil overs in the rear, and I hear the clunk in straight line driving and turns, and in any gear, at any rpm, the "clunk" happens only under accel or sometimes in decel and always when braking.

It may not apply here, but the same thing was happening to my truck. It was where the drive shaft connects to the tranny. One of the U's had broken. sorry I could point the part out, just not very technical with names.

something liek that would be my guess, if its doing it on turns also and not only when your going over bumps then its something in this area at least. take the tire off that its comming from and see if there is play in the tie rod

suspension related problem. with a not-so-nice lower job, you are probably destroying alot of suspension parts.
