hey i just bought a 97 spyder about a month ago and i absolutely love it.
but the speakers in the top of the dashboard are blown and right now i have the fader all the way to the rear cause the sound blows through the speakers on the dash.
Im having major trouble trying to find speakers to replace them?
the opening is 3 1/4" ??
crutchfield says a 4" will fit? i have no clue what to do
can anyone help me?

i thought they were just tweeters,if so i would just unhook them and upgrade the door speakers like i did

 

Go to a junkyard like i did and jack some out of a wreck. I put them into my 97 gs. I always thought they were 2 3/4 but idk. I saw some from... rockford fosgate(i think) at bestbuy. Little mini punches. might be worth a look even though i remember they were expensive as hell. $75 for both i think. hope that helps.
