Automatic to manual?

RE: Automatic to manual?
doubtful. Unless you can find a complete donor car for under a grand. But there is a whole write-up on www.vfaq.com that is for a turbo one, but its all the same basic idea. Youll need a decent ammount of parts

I bet if you fabricated those onto the back of the steering wheel, you could makea 'paddleshift' thing lol.
But that isn't a manual transmission, you don't have a third pedal = automatic.

That's actually kind of cool. I wonder if the TCM still takes control and shifts up or down if the driver doesn't like most auto cars with that feature.
Why do you guys dog on the auto tranny again? Because it's cool to mis-shift? Because notchy is the new smooth? Because your jealous that the guy with the auto can drink his drink while passing you because you mis-shifted or couldn't get it into gear fast enough because it too notchy because you haven't upgraded the link with shifter bushings? Seriously, how many of you can shift like John Shepherd? How many times have you guys said you missed a gear, but still won to the Honda Civic?

come on john, you know that a lot of younger guys like to have a stick shift cause it's more fun to drive, it makes driving more interesting... a lot of times guys think it's a status thing, i dunno... i enjoy it
