aghhhhhh someone give me your 2 cents on this.

Transistor pack checks out fine.
There is power TO the coil, but nothing comes out, and my test says the coil is fine...gahhh

from what i hear its really hard to get to the crank shaft position sensor...

its not that hard to get to.. its just time intensive... just follow the instructions in your manual on how to change the timing belt and its down next to the crank sprocket.. I had to work down there three times this month so if you run into any snags just let me know.

Im thinking this may be a possibility now, but why would it just full on go out? any way i can test it?

im not getting fuel either. Since both the ignition and fuel are part of the ecu...seems like thats what it is...right?

oh yeah and i forgot to mention, the day it died, the coolant temp was especially high. All the way to red. Smelled a little like over heating too

I would almost bet it's the crank sensor..I had one burn out on a '97 Spyder GS that I used to have..it also broke the balance shaft belt..it just died without any noise or jolts or anything...I say crank sensor.
