Best value for a CAI

Best value for a CAI
I didn't see a post for this so I'll ask the experts. What would be a good/decent CAI for a 97 Eclipse RS in the sub $200 range? A buddy of mine told me the K&N filters are good but I am wondering what other options I have.

I did a little research on the AEM V2 and I only saw a 7.3 HP @ 5750 RPM increase. Is this CAI best for use in conjunction with other mods or would I be paying $250+ for a shiny tube that says AEM on it?

no matter hwta intake you get thats aboutall the hp increase you will get. And as far as working with other mods, it really doesn't matter. They will be the same wether it be AEM or injen. The reason you buy the good intakes is because of the better piping and the better design so that it actually does good and not break your car. You are basically just paying for quality piping.

I disagree. With the higher expense intakes you're paying for a better fitament and easier installation. Again as I said before how much quality do you need to make a pipe that connects to the intake manifold and sucks in air? What your paying the extra for is A.) The name, B.) the fitament of the piping itself and the sensors that are required. There is no way that an intake should "break" your car at all.
