Default bleeding the clutch???

i tried to bleed my clutch by myself using the club bar to depress/hold the clutch=) the way i did it was:
1=pump clutch for 5x and hold it using the club
2=opened the bleeder valve and waited for like 5 mins to closed it again because of the air bubbles coming out. ofcourse the other end of the hose was submerged in fluid and making sure that the master cylinder doesnt go empty
3= removed the club and lifted clutch pedal.
what I noticed is everytime I do these steps was there is always air bubbles coming out. I did it for like 1 hour and still

i used this 2 sites as my reference
1=== http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75959
2=== http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/show...58&postcount=1
what im confused about was on reference 1 it was saying that i still need to depress the clutch before i close the bleeder and on reference 2 was saying that lift the pedal then tighten the bleeder.

i just need to know which one is the best method to bleed the clutch..

thanks!!!

i dont know what the answer is, but it makes sense to me to leave it depressed since if you let it up, air bubbles can get sucked up from the bottom.... as where if you tighten the bleeder first, no suction would be sucked back into the line by letting off the clutch pedal..........idk if that made sense =/

Default RE: bleeding the clutch???

Do NOT lift the pedal before closing the bleeder. That will suck air into the system. Also use 2 people it will be MUCH easier and less hassle. You can even have a chick pump the clutch it's that simple. Also why would you hold the pedal down with the bleeder open 5 minutes??? Seriously the most air you'll get out will be in the first 5-10 seconds close the bleeder and pump again. Just like bleeding brakes. If you leave the bleeder open and pedal down the fluid will seep by and continue to drian. You weren't seeing air bubbles you were seeing more fluid leaking out. Also check the resevior make sure it is full every few times you pump.
