Default boost pressure

how much boost can a stock 1997 gst turbo hold. i want to up it when racing and run stock boost during street driving. also will i get more horsepower if i swap in a 1g turbo? i can get one for cheap.. what kind of boost can it hold?

stock T25 is only good till around 18PSI stock fuel is good till about 16-17PSI the 14B (stock 1G turbo) is good till about 19-20PSI but is more efficient and a better turbo than the T25.

the EVOs can boost 22PSI on the stock 550s so I gues they are good, but dont forget a fuel pump too... and to have it run to its top potentcail adding fuel and and boost wont do getting a tune will work wonders with that stuff

thanks i have 500 venoms now... i already have a 3000gt 190lph fuel pump will this be sufficient for high boost?

190 is what I see alot of DSMs guys use for pumps

if you plan on boosting it up that hi i would for sure get a tune.

Is the motor stock or do you have some mods??
