well i did some research http://www.4g64.150m.com/turbo2.htmlinstead of the high flow pump can i just use a fuel pressure regulator and turn up the psi?

no, the pump only "pumps" so much fuel... if you increase the psi to an amount greater than the pump pressure of the fuel pump than you'll be hurting yourself.
