Default RE: BOV installation instead of Bypass

Alright, i have one more question. Do i have to have any other upgrades inorder to install a BOV in my car. I have nothing done to it. No upgrades whatsoever. I only have a Greddy Type RS BOV (because the tip of my stock BOV (Bypass) broke) Do i have to have any other upgrades done to my car inorder to install this BOV?

Yuppers, nothing else really needed. i'd suggest bigger IC piping.

Thanks guys for the information on using the BOV as the Bypass Valve. I got the that piece for the BOV to use it as a Bypass Valve and it works wonderfully. Thanks again guys.

Hey guys, i have another question about the BOV (now Bypass). I havent tightened it all the way yet. Everytime I "hit" hard it still seems to die out a little, just a little. Do you think, I need to tighten the BOV? Also, would I need to adjust the BOV, once I put on performance parts?

if you're raising the boost then dont worry about it, but if you're staying the same boost you can fool around with it. it may be too loose and the valve is fluttering.
