quick question boys,what does the screw on the top of the bov do?i have the greddy type-s,what does it mean hard and soft?i have it screwed in all the way down.let me know

 

It adjust how easy it lets out the pressure. If your venting having it too soft will cause you to stall out when letting go of the gas. Not everytime but I seen this on autos and 5 speeds.

simply what was mention. i believe it for adjusting spring inside. Hard just means it requires more boost pressure to fully open. So if your pushing alotof boost and dont want to leak, adjust it to hard and test it. Soft is the opposite for ppl running lower boost and want it to fully open when needed.

 

so should i loosen it up a lil?i am only running 9lbs.

when i bought the car,the motor had it on already,thats the only thing he had on it

 

Does it actually have the Greddy sticker on it? Or is the top just plain?

 

Make sure the side is stamped with greddy, anyone can pop the sticker on it.
