BOV sound different for everyone?
I was thinking, can you not choose to make your BOV sound a particular way...For instance, if someone else has a greddy s bov and i get one, it doesn't mean mine will sound like this...Right?
Honestly, i just want it noticeably loud, similar to this...
Do you think getting a greddy bov, downpipe, exhaust with no catalytic converter and an intake will help achieve this?

RE: BOV sound different for everyone?
If you think of where the BOV is located... youll realize most of those parts wont affect the sound it produces. Really, the sound would matter on the boost your car is producing. Higher pressure=Louder sound as a general rule. Though, recirculating is a much better idea for the car anyway. Theres 0 performance increase by releasing to atmosphere, its just the sound.

RE: BOV sound different for everyone?
there are other things to change in a BOV like the tightness of the spring in it which will make it release sooner or later. But in general a Greddy just has its own sound and will always make its type of sound. Like Dusty said the ammount of boost being run and type of car will change alittle but not much. IMO dont get to hung up on what it sounds like
